merged in 2021 to become FRNIX, which owns France-IX Services SAS, the operator of the FranceIX IXP.<\/p><p>In 2023, a new dynamic was introduced and activities are now organised within the Association, such as training courses (BGP workshop), events (aPEERo), IXP discovery sessions (IXPlorations), information meetings for members (PEERmanence) and others to The SASU is a form of company in France characterised by a single shareholder, in this case FRNIX. An IXP (Internet eXchange Point) is a physical infrastructure through which different Internet networks can exchange traffic with each other. These exchanges are made directly, without going through third parties, which improves efficiency, reduces costs and lowers latency.<br>France-IX has been deployed in several French cities (Lille Paris Lyon Marseille and Toulouse) and is now the largest IXP in France.<\/p>\n<p>The IXP France-IX is managed and operated by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.franceix.net\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\"
